Marshmello launches a new animated video series for children

Marshmello, best known for his global hit ‘Happier’ is expanding his empire with a new kid-friendly animated series titled ‘Mellodees’.

The educational series follows the adventures of Dee, a singing robot who along with his friends will go on adventures soundtracked by EDM producer, Marshmello.

The YouTube channel is aimed at children between two and six years old.

Mellodees is a collaboration with Marshamello’s manager Moe Shalizi.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Shalizi explained that because of lockdown, “Children’s screen time is at an all-time high,” and by “blending creativity and innovation,” he and Marshmello aim to “fill a gap in children’s programming,” without stripping the star of his “cool factor.”
